Thinking made visible
Thinking made visible
We hit the streets of NYC with the prompt, "If I could not fail, I would..."
Baronfig was built on questions.
On bringing ideas to life.
Here you’ll find projects that blur the line between art, design, and philosophy.
From interactive installations to collaborative design experiments, this is where we explore ideas beyond the page.
Thinking, made visible.
Projects are investigations that take shape as films, publications, conversations, exhibitions, experiments, collaborations, and other creative work. They begin with an idea or question and can take whatever form best serves it.
Because some ideas are worth exploring even when they don’t begin with a product. Projects give us space to follow curiosity, ask questions, work with interesting people, and make things that contribute something beyond the objects we sell.
Usually with a question, observation, conversation, or something we can’t stop thinking about. We don’t begin by deciding what the final format should be. The idea comes first, and the form follows.
No. A Project might become a film, essay, publication, event, experiment, or something else entirely. Sometimes it leads to an Edition or even a permanent Tool. Other times, the Project itself is the finished work.
Tools, Editions, and Projects are different ways we explore ideas. A Project might inspire an Edition, an experiment might reveal a Tool worth making permanently, or one idea might take several forms at once. They’re distinct parts of the studio, but they often inform one another.
Baronfig is founder-led and studio-built. Founder and Creative Director Joey Cofone helps shape the questions, point of view, and creative direction, while our team and collaborators bring their own ideas, knowledge, craft, and perspective to the work.
