Orders

How do I track my order?

Once your order ships, you're emailed a tracking number that populates delivery details within 24-48 hours. Most shipping is done via USPS and should include an expected deliver date. 

For Non-US customers: If our provider needs to hand the package off to your local post, you will also have access to a secondary tracking number once the exchange occurs (a nine-digit number with two letters at the beginning and end, for example RX123456789DE). Please note that your package may have to pass through local customs, which can take a few days to process.

Where can I see my order history?

View orders in your Baronfig account by logging in with the email you ordered with. From there, you can also manage your subscriptions, saved addresses, passwords, and more.

I want to change my order, is that possible?

We pride ourselves in shipping your orders as quickly as possible. This means the window to alter your order is short, since we typically pack your items within hours. 

If you want to request an order change, please email us at hello@baronfig.com right away. We will do our best to help, but we can't guarantee that we will be able to change your order before shipping.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, JCB, Diner’s Club, Shop Pay, Elo, Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Dai, Ethereum, Litecoin, and USD Coin.

Can I exchange or return a product?

Quality and satisfaction are paramount to everyone here at Baronfig. 

Customers have 30 days from date of purchase to request a refund or exchange by emailing hello@baronfig.com. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. 

We're sorry that at this time, Baronfig cannot process international returns.

How do I download an order invoice?
  1. Login to your Baronfig account
  2. Go to Orders in the menu
  3. Click Manage on the specific order
  4. Select Download Invoice
  5. Automatically a pdf invoice will download to your desktop

Shipping

When will I receive my package?

That all depends on where your order is going. At checkout, we provide an estimated delivery window and once shipped, we email you a tracking number (within 1-2 business days from order placement). 

You can also find your order and tracking information by logging into your Baronfig account.

Do you offer free shipping?

Enjoy complimentary shipping on orders over $100 and free 30 day returns on non-limited products in the US. For free shipping outside of the US, please refer to the cart for more information.

Are there any international shipping fees?

Baronfig charges shipping fees based on an order’s weight and distance traveled. Your parcel is shipped from the USA via an international carrier, who delivers the parcel to your Local Post to go through Customs. The Local Post makes the final delivery. 

If your country charges VAT fees, you will be charged these by your local post/government. Baronfig does not control VAT fees.

Why are your Limited Editions so fantastic?

Aw shucks, you’re making us blush. Our Limited Editions are designed to inspire and delight—we put a lot of heart and soul into making them happen. 

That being said, we assure you that there are no extra Experiment Edition Squires laying around the studio that we happened to forget about—they really are all gone. :)

How do I refill my Squire?

All you need to do is unscrew the back of the pen to open it and replace the ink refill. Make sure the spring stays at the writing tip of the pen.

My ink is skipping, is my Squire broken?

Don't worry, the ink refill is likely the issue. Try these three things: 

  1. Wipe down the tip of the ink refill.Any debris stuck on the tip will affect the ink output. 
  2. Scribble on a piece of paper in circles to help the ink flow. 
  3. Double check the tip to make sure the ink refill hasn’t been dropped and broken. We always recommend keep your Squire closed in a sheath or pen stand when not in use.
Why is my Squire ink not retracting or extracting?

Has your Squire been dropped onto its writing tip recently? If that rounded opening gets dented it will prevent the pen from opening and closing correctly. If that's the case, it's an easy fix at home. Here's a video to show you the quick fix.

Why does my Copper or Brass Precious Metal Squire look dull?

Our Copper and Brass Squires both naturally develop patinas, something many collectors cherish. If you prefer your pen to stay bright and shiny, a commercial brass cleaner will work to restore the luster.

Is your notebook paper fountain pen-friendly?

All of our notebooks are specifically designed for ideation. This means that our goal is to have a large amount of pages per book, as opposed to only a few thick pages. We have found that our paper works well with many fountain pens, depending on the nib width, flow, and applied pressure.

Why don’t notebooks come in all colors, sizes, and paper types?

Notebook colors and sizes are stocked based on customer demand and community feedback. We occasionally release seasonal offerings, but quantities are limited. Sign up for the email notifications to be the first to know about those releases.

Does the Guardian Pro fit the Vanguard?

The Guardian Pro is is specifically designed for the Confidant in Flagship. Fits are not universal between notebooks.

Where do you make your products?

The Squire is made in the USA. The Confidant, Vanguard, and Archer are made in Taiwan, Portugal, and Germany. Venture is made in Vietnam. All of our products are designed in New York City.

Subscriptions

What are product subscriptions?

Order select products on a recurring basis and as a thank you, we give you a discount on any products you subscribe to.

How do I subscribe to a product?
  1. Go to the product page
  2. Click Subscriptions
  3. Select the Frequency
  4. Click Add to Cart
  5. Check out like normal

Once your order has been processed, you'll receive two emails—one confirming your order and another confirming your subscription.

How do I skip a subscription shipment?
  1. Login to your Baronfig account
  2. Click Subscriptions
  3. Locate your subscription and click Skip
  4. Choose the delay period
  5. Confirm and see the changes on your subscription page
How do I change a subscription delivery date?
  1. Login to your Baronfig account
  2. Click Subscriptions
  3. Locate your subscription and 
  4. Click Next Order Date and choose the date
  5. Or click Order Now to get your subscription now

How do I cancel my subscription?
  1. Login to your Baronfig account

What are your different business services?

We offer two Baronfig for Business services: 

  1. Branded: Customize products with your logo or artwork. 50 unit minimum.
  2. Tailored: Build an edition from scratch. 1,000 unit minimum.
Do you customize your products for organizations?

What kind of branded customization do you offer?

We can custom engrave our award-wining pens and deboss your artwork onto our notebooks. Get in touch to learn more.

What if I want to fully customize a product?

Our Tailored service allows you to make a unique edition of our products from the inside out. Please note, we require 1k unit minimum for all tailored orders.

Can you ship customized orders internationally?

Absolutely. We can ship all business orders to the same countries as our standard customer orders.

Wholesale

How do I become a wholesale merchant with Baronfig?

If you're ready to partner with us, complete our wholesale application and we will respond within 2-5 business days.

What are your wholesale merchant guidelines?

Please review the following Key Information for our Wholesale Partners before applying:

  • Initial Order Requirements: For your inaugural order, we ask that you order a minimum of $250, with the flexibility to choose across our diverse range of products. Subsequent orders have the option for reduced quantities, based on your preferences.

  • Payment Information: All payments must be completed before any orders are dispatched. Payments can be processed using a credit card or a bank transfer via your wholesale account.

  • Adherence to Minimum Advertised Price (MAP): Our commitment to maintaining the integrity of our brand necessitates that all resellers adhere to our Minimum Advertised Price policy. The Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) is provided in our wholesale price list, and our retail prices are available for viewing on our website. If you are unsure about whether a sale or promotion complies with our MAP policy, please consult with us beforehand. Non-compliance with our MAP policy may lead to the termination of your wholesale account.

  • Restrictions on Third-Party Sales Platforms: Resale of our products through third-party online platforms (such as Etsy, Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Target, etc.) by our wholesale partners is strictly prohibited. Authorized sales channels are limited to your physical store. If you would like to sell via your online store, please contact us and we will evaluate the opportunity.

  • Custom Items and Collaborative Products: Unless given explicit permission, our retail partners are prohibited from selling any products that are the result of a collaboration with another entity or any product not directly made available to both retailers and the general public by us.

  • Product Format and Sales Methodology: We require that all products be sold in their original packaging and format. It is not permitted to break up multi-unit packs for individual sale or to create new product bundles or combinations. Additionally, our products must not be included in any subscription services. This rule applies to all products, both current and past.

  • Terms and Conditions for Resale: These guidelines are designed to ensure the sale of our products is conducted in a manner that upholds our brand's reputation for quality and supports our valued network of retail partners.

How can I access the wholesale portal?

Do you sell gift cards?

Yes, we do. You can order one of our digital gift cards, which are delivered instantly by email.

Can I add a note and/or get my gift wrapped with my order?

Unfortunately we’re unable to offer these services at this time. However, all our products come wrapped individually and with attractive packaging, making them gift-worthy as is; and pricing and payment info is excluded from all packaging materials.

Can I customize just one product as a gift?

Alas, for a variety of reasons, we can only customize our goods in bulk.
