The Poster Project is a celebration of the maker spirit. We invited illustrators and designers from around the world to contribute, giving each an inspiring line and simple color palette. They worked to refine their ideas and bring beautiful posters to life.
Also: big shout out to the awesome group of thinkers and makers at The Half and Half—they silkscreened all the posters and even designed one!
We hope you enjoy the posters. View the Collection >

Chris Moran is a Designer and Animator from Leeds, UK. His poster is all about the balance between Order and Chaos, derived from the gods/brothers Apollo and Dionysus. It's also a reference to the meaning behind the name Baron Fig:
The creative journey revolves around the dichotomy of Discipline and Impulse: having the discipline to work hard and the impulse to go to places you (and others) haven’t.
The Greek gods/brothers Apollo (discipline) and Dionysus (impulse) represent this dichotomy perfectly. "Baron" is derived from the Apollonian symbol of "soldier", and "Fig" is a symbol of Dionysus.
Andrew Colin Beck is an American graphic designer and illustrator living in Amsterdam.

Trevor will be moving to NYC shortly, so we'll be seeing a lot more of him!
Little by little, we're getting there. We've been working on making our books available internationally, this month the doors finally open to Canada. Thank you for the emails and the support—you've helped us keep our nose to the grindstones to make it happen.
If you're country isn't listed, fear not, we're working on it!

Ricky Linn is a graphic design student at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. "I like to think of myself as a robot simply for the fact that I wish to trick my brain into thinking that I do not require sleep."
"I love anything and everything that is mid-century design and my work is incredibly influenced by the masters that have come before us, while infusing my own personality into the work I create. I hope you enjoy it!"
Melody Newcomb is a freelance illustrator who lives in Brooklyn NY. According to her, she watches far too much television with her boyfriend and their American Eskimo Messi.
"A dog sleeps deeply and happily as he thinks about his day, shown in little dog versions running up and down his body."
Daniel Fishel is an illustrator and hand letterer from the Keystone State, based out of Queens, NY. He loves Boston Terriers, tiramisu, high-fives and NPR.

"A dictionary page is scratched and torn to reveal the quote behind. The visual takeaway is that our self-imposed definitions smother us—but when you start to tear away those barriers you open yourself to discover things that you never knew existed."
Tuesday Bassen is an award-winning Illustrator, Designer, and Art Director living in New York City.
From an interview with Working Not Working: "This might sound like a no-brainer, but it's easy to look to others for guidance and lose sight of what you're about, what you're doing, and what you want to achieve. Make passion happen and don't let any nay-sayers get in the way! (But also think about this: haters gonna bring up some good points.)"
Jen Mussari is a "Jack of all trades / Master of a couple" from Brooklyn. In her own words:
"Lettering artist, illustrator, fine artist, designer, community member, dog sitter (prefers cats), collector of things, Tattly artist, sign painter, you name it and I will do it. Proud Philadelphian, left my heart in Baltimore, had a quick love/hate thing with San Francisco, now in the nurturing arms of Brooklyn."
Pablo Pintachan is a full-time illustrator & designer living in the north of Spain.
He's a confessed liquorice lover, enthusiast of old sci-fi movies and collector of children's illustration books.
