You’ve been asking for more guided editions, and the Clear Habit Journal is our most ambitious one to date. It’s a combination daily journal, dot grid notebook, and habit tracker. Designed with science as a guide, it builds a structure around the idea that we do not rise to the level of our goals, but fall to the level of our systems.
Our guided editions use verbs for a naming structure—ex. “Wander” for the dream journal—and the stars aligned with this one. Clear is not only a reference to checking off a task or or completing a habit, it also happens to be the name of our collaborator, James Clear.
James is author of Atomic Habits and creator of the Habits Academy. He’s been documenting his journey for years as he ventures to answer a single question: “How can we live better?” In search for an answer, James has uncovered a vast amount of scientific theory, which he not only reports on but also experiments with by integrating them in his life.
The Clear Habit Journal is the result of years of research, experimentation, and growth. It has a myriad of features, including Habit Trackers, a One Line Per Day journal, and an evolved dot grid format called Split Grid that has tiny hashes to help you divide your page. It also contains several first for Baronfig, namely the inclusion of two bookmarks, a folder in the back, numbered pages, and and index.
Completely new for both Baronfig and James Clear, the Habit Journal has Toolkits in the back. They’re a dozen pages of content that explain powerful ways you can use the notebook, completely exclusive to Baronfig.
Clear—which has been in development for over a year—is designed to help you get the most out of your day, every day. The Clear Habit Journal is now available.
